- 100% whole grain tortilla (130 calories/3g total fat/22g total carbs/3g fiber/4g protein)
- ½ medium onion, sliced
- ½ bell pepper, sliced
- ½ tbsp. of vegetable oil
- 1 small tomato, sliced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ¼ cup of shredded part skim mozzarella cheese (or cheese of your choice)
- ½ tsp. of Italian herbs or 1 tsp. of fresh basil
- salt and black pepper to taste
Poor ½ tbsp. of vegetable oil into a medium size sauté pan and heat it up over medium-high heat. Add onions, bell pepper, salt & pepper and sauté for about 10 min until vegetables are fully cooked.
Place the tortilla on a baking tray. Top it first with sautéed onions & peppers, then put sliced tomatoes, garlic, cheese and herbs.
Bake it for 15-20 minutes in the preheated to 350 degrees oven. Once your cheese melts and changes its color to light brown, take the pizza out. Let it sit under a paper towel or napkin for about 5 minutes before serving.
